WARWICK STUDIES
IN RENAISSANCE THOUGHT AND CULTURE
This series explores the cultural forms, intellectual and religious traditions, and institutions of learning that shaped the Renaissance world, 1300–1700, always aiming for an interdisciplinary and, where possible and relevant, comparative and/or global approach. Potential topics include the histories and interactions of art, language(s), literature, music, philosophy, science and medicine, and religion. It publishes studies that present and sustain fresh views and categories: those, for instance, that recognize the co-existence in the period of Latin and the vernacular; that examine the relationship between Classical and Christian traditions; that evaluate the potential connections between social, cultural, and intellectual history; or that challenge established chronological boundaries.
